Winter White Dwarf

Winter White Dwarves (Phodopus sungorus) are called by this name because of their winter apperance. In the Winter, these hamsters can get a full white coat, or simple patches. Their coat could also become lighter, but it is likely to become fully white. These hamsters originate from Eastern Kazakhstan, Asia; and South Western Siberia. Like the Campbell's Russian Dwarf, and unlike Syrians, their feet are furry. They are 8+ centimeters in length when fully grown. Winter Whites can also live with other same sex Winter White hamsters, as long as they get along properly. They live for 1 1/2+ years.

WW's are prone to diabetes, so you wil have to feed a certain diet. Also, they are prone to wet tail. Wet tail is a serious bacterial infection that can kill in 24 hours if not treated.
