The Hamster Guide

A bug-out bag is a portable kit that contains the items one would require to survive for seventy-two hours when evacuating from a disaster.

 

 

 

In a situation, such as a fire or tornado, a pet is very important. So, you will need a few things for your hamster so it can live well temporarily. Here is a list of things I put in my B-O-B. I use a tote bag for it.

 

• Hamster First Aid Kit (clicky)

• A bag of food

• 3 water bottles (with actual water, not a hamsters drinking water bottle)

• Water bottle (the one your hamster drinks from)

• A wheel

• Fold up playpen

• Small chews+toys

 

It is also very important to have a carrying cage. If your hamster has to stay in it for a few days, it wont kill them. That is why you have the small playpen, so they can come out. Your safety is more important than how big a carrier is. If its too big, you might not be able to bring it out.
